We believe this expert coaching is key to why so many of our players improving so quickly and so dramatically.
Every player is different. One size definitely does not fit all. So, the skilled coach will tailor the drills and training exercises that each player practices to enhance their particular skill set, or to improve areas that need work, such as improving the player’s weaker foot.
But skilled coaches are able to assess all aspect of a player’s game. Surprisingly often this will involve the mental side of the game. Reading the game and then improving communication skills, are another part of the game that a skilled coach will work on in a player. Here at UK Football Schools we have found over the years that players from overseas are often excellent technically, but are sometimes let down by their ability to read the game and influence ity from a tactical perspective.
The way a team is set up, and understanding each individual’s role in the chosen system is something that dedicated coaches who are genuinely involved in improving both a players and a team’s performance take time and trouble to teach. But this is only something that can be taught and learnt in a positive and enjoyable football environment, which is such a characteristic of all our partner schools.
